I am the Highest and Best; the Most Powerful, Supreme Ruler over all. I am unconquerable. I am the Eternal One. I am all sufficient, always willing and able to provide for you. Come. Make your home in Me. Keep company with Me and enjoy the benefits of living in My hidden, protective, endless covering where you can rest and be refreshed.” God

If you have decided to dwell in the secret place of the Most High then you have a new address. Our new address is summed up in one Word, one Person. His name is Jesus, the Anointed One. He is our secret place. Once we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we have a new address. We’ve had a kingdom transfer—out of the kingdom of darkness and into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son. It’s important to know that address.

But God—so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, even when we were dead by our own shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; He gave us the very life of the Anointed One Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for it is by grace, His favor and mercy, that you are saved, delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation. And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together, giving us joint seating with Him, in the heavenly sphere by virtue of our being in Christ Jesus.Ephesians 2:5-6

In Him all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in bodily form and you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life in Christ. Colossians 2:9

Because I am in Christ, in Him I live and move and have my being, and my life is hid with Christ in God. Now I am dwelling in the secret place of the Most High and I will remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty in whose power no foe can withstand. I’ve been stamped with the seal of His Holy Spirit. If you’ve made the exchange, given God your life and received the life of Jesus, then this applies to you.

Choose to dwell in the secret place of the Most High (Jesus), and you can continually pass through this life in rest, under the protective shield of the One Who is All Powerful and All sufficient to meet ALL your needs.

The secret place of the Most High is above it all. He is above and supreme and so is our place in Him. Jesus, seated at the right hand of the Father, is high above all principality and power, might and dominion, and we are seated with Him—above it all with His and our enemy under His and our feet. The secret place is about protection.

Spend time with Him. Give Him the best part of your day, the best of you. Read His Word, talk to Him, get to know Him. That is all He wants of you, a relationship with Him. And when that bond is made, that connection sealed, you will have a secret place to hide and to heal any time you want.” (from Recipes and Wooden Spoons by Judy Baer)

I can’t say it any better than this. To enjoy the benefits of what Jesus has provided for us through His death and resurrection, we need to spend time with Him and His Word. I’m sure you’ve heard this many times, but it’s worth repeating. We need to fellowship the relationship. Everything we need is provided through Jesus, but we have to know what has been provided and get to know the One Who has provided it. We access everything God has provided through faith…by placing our trust in Him for it…and we can’t trust Him if we don’t know Him.

We dwell in the secret place by choice—a decision. We continue to experience the rest that provides by dwelling on Him…staying focussed on Him and His love for us and continuing to stay in communication with Him through prayer and His Word and especially drawing close to His presence.

As we continue studying Psalm 91, let’s fellowship with Him as we dig for the gold in this powerful word of protective promises.

Father, thank you for your Son, Jesus and Your ever present Spirit living in us. We invite You, Holy Spirit to be with us as we continue in Psalm 91. Make Your Word real to us as You reveal to us the things we need to know. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen…

To be continued….until then…peace to you and your family.
